konichiwa shogun-tachi, genki da ne?
anyway forgive my horrible attempt at japanese. yep im back in good ol' melbourne for a brand new semester of school.. with 3 new subjects and 1 freakin repeated subject. WEll its kinda sad that the hols, but it was rather fruitful cuz managed to accomplish some stuff whilst i was in sg:
1) got to meet kai, mike's gf, who turned out to be one rather spunky individual who likes to ruffle my hair
2) attempted to read up Torts B as i was unemployed
3) went shopping with becky, which turned out to be rather fruitless cuz i din buy anythin but a death note notebook; and Babel was one hell of a crappy movie
4) met up with meg and mel for a super belated ex-schoolmates get-together.. and yes Pan's Labyrinth still haunts my naps..
5) undergo a rather intensive weight-loss programme, consisting of gymming, and a large cut in my carbs intake and a large intake of veggies and fruits... unfortunately, i only lost 4kg...
6) went for this massive murtabak feast with cheryl, which left me feeling super bloated (and guilty) after
7) introduced by my church mates to a new hobby - board games (dun laugh.. but honestly.. they are DAMN fun)
8) got to hang out wit jerry for the last time before he leaves for perth... and yes, Balcony was good (and expensive) shit
yep those were the main stuff that happened during my 3.5 month stay...
well the first week of uni came and went.. and already im startin to feel the stress. My biggest fear revolves around passing Property Law cuz i heard that it was one of the subs with the highest failure rate. Evidence and Equity are equally hard as well.
And yes, i MUST strive to get Torts OVER AND DONE WITH. oh, and i've decided to opt to do ALL 4 optional assignments for all my subjects, which i must complete within a span of two months... suicidal as it may seem.. but at least it gives me less stress for the exams...
this year i've decided to abandon joining the badminton and tennis club for reasons being i have absolutely no time to commit to either sport; however i have decided to take up GYM in order to attempt to reduce my weight to its original, and HOPEFULLY, to get MUCH fitter. The only drawback is that all the prices for membership have gone up by at least 50% because of the STUPID VSU legislation which had just passed (basically govt wants to cut funding for student clubs)... and hence, im left feeling really broke, in addition to the amt of money i have to spend on books, broadband and HEALTHCARE
anyways, complaints aside, i pray that God would be able to get me through this semester, and also to bless me with good (and merciful) lecturers/tutors
aite, back to my late night mugging...
oyasumi~
