back in melbourne for yet another hardcore semester
1st week of sch just endedwith things startin off pretty badly. Firstly, my appeal for Torts B failed n it looks im gonna be doing Torts AGAIN for the THIRD time.. oh gosh.. when will i EVER clear torts... n secondly,i failed to get a transfer for my FLAP programme from thurs to fri.. so looks like im gonna be having a darn hectic schedule.
becuz i cldnt get the friday schedule, my choices for my 4th subject were pretty much limited, hence i had to settle for the only subject tt cld sorta fit 'comfortably' in my schedule:
Administrative Law
cim as it sounds, its actually a 4th year subject. Being fresh out of constitutional law, this is gonna be WAY heavier and WAY drier than before.. heck even the lecturer bores the students to death.. ah well... better get it over n done wit me den delay it
Parents, Children & State is the subject out of my other 3 (contract b, crim b, admin) to be the MOST interesting unit i've ever taken. Primarily, the subject is a component of Family Law which deals with issues pertaining to parents and children (duh), e.g. divorce, family violence, surrogacy etc. The class is darm small (<50 strength), of which less than 15 are guys. Seems like guys cant be stuffed with such touchy and emotionally challenging subjects and hence they settle for subs which are perfect for becomin rich(e.g Corp Law, Banking Law, etc). Furthermore, e lecturer is REALLY enthusiastic abt it, which seems that i'll be in good hands this year. FLAP seems interesting as well cuz i get to experience life in a legal clinic dealing wit family matters for a month.
indeed God has blessed me with a good start to my 2nd sem in uni, although some things didnt turn out the way i wanted to. But i believe that all these minor hiccups are all part of God's plan, to test my faith in Him in times where things go rough.
may God guide me throughout this new semester as he had done for my previous semesters
anyway, need to get some rest, friday's been reserved for me to catch up wit all my notes and for intensive mugging
