this is gonna be one helluva mushy post... dun bother to read if u dun feel like (by scrolling you have implicitly agreed to read this post)
reminiscing on da way home from class, i pondered at the scenario as to what my life would be like if i din have any frens to support me in the last 18-19 years... which is what made me create this post in appreciation of all the wonderful ppl i have met and have corresponded with

first two people that come to mind are mike and bryan(my 'clone'). Having only known them for like..hmm... 5-6 years since pentecost days... these two have become my best buddies in church. Both are enjoyable to be with as we share the same interests... pool, hanging, guits, music, sport, girls, movies, dota (that was till i pulled out from the dota gang)...most importantly, both of them love the Lord wholeheartedly, esp mike, who has shared with me many experiences whereby God has touched his life n made him a better person, which greatly encouraged me to continue walking with the Lord. bryan's e more playful type, no offense, but tt was e reason i was really close to him.. cuz it reminded me of myself. Besides sharing the same name, i realised tt we actually have a lot of things in common... same tastes in music, games, even horrible academic history.. Both of them supported me the most whenever i was caught up in huge ruckuses in life... esp when my grandma passed away... Even though im older than both of them, they treated me as though i was one of them (except prolly e time when i had to accompany them to buy drinks.. heh heh).. Nevertheless.. both of them have impacted my life greatly.. n i shudder to think abt what my life would be like without them
Besides mike n bryan, my peeps in church, too, have made my life more fruitful, esp those from my youth group with whom i spend most of my time with. Just to name a few: rayner, woon han, david, valentia, evelyn, yi yang, ailene, the beckies, cheryl, mervyn etc..
and of course, who could forget my cell group, with whom i have grown up since primary/secondary school: the jeremies, derek, alan, wei jin, junjie, wei ren, wei yi, hui min, hui wen etc.
my gmss mates.. hmm.. i've actually lost contact with them.. well... most of the guys have been shipped off to tekong for NS (HA HA HA) n the girls.. well dunno wad happen to them.. haha.. anyway... they are defintely worth a mention, esp Adrian and Ryan for putting up wit my nonsense for 2 years, YuanJian for teachin me bball n for whom u get my 'dating' tips from (werent very helpful tho), Wenda, Michelle for putting up with my nonsense again, n for a temporary reunion in melbourne in 2004, Xinhui and Davina for being my counsellers, Melissa for always being there in my times of trouble, as well as for FF problems, Megan for being there to remind me of the importance of maintaining my relationship with God, Sandy for being my first gmss friend in Taylors ... just to name a few

The people whom i'll definitely be grateful for are those that have been with me since Taylors days..especially in the memorable days spent in Beckett. These people are the reason to the elimination of my loneliness, are definitely to be commended: Azzad, my bro who has gone through thick n thin (and rainy weather) wit me for the past 2.5 years, Mel, Nita and Diana, my older and younger sisters, respectively, who have never failed to brighten up my life with bite marks, poor english and endless whining, John, one who shares almost the same interests as me n the first Methodist friend i've met, Chuang, my jiejie with whom i can bully n make fun of, Alan, the first singaporean/british/hk buddy with whom i constantly meet up for pool, anime n food, Nikki, the first person from taylors i met in law, Kelvin, a dota buddy whom, like me, decided to abstain from dota, Ili who never fails to wake me up by pinching my arm in biology, Mario, a friend with whom will accompany u for supper at 1 am.. e list goes on and on...
oh n lets not forget the uni ppl as well: Anne, a great friend who loves the Lord and a great partner to talk/gossip with, Tanya, my senior in law who..err.. gives me 'helpful' advice in my subjects, n whom i love to irritate, Thomas, who never fails to ask me for my notes n tute answers, Jono and Brian, my buddies in crim law, and with whom i share the same name, surname n almost e same chinese name as, Jane, my first student in law.... etc etc
I am eternally grateful to God for blessing me with such wonderful friends who go through trials and tribulations, joys and sorrow, sunny, windy and rainy days. thick and thin wit me.
/end of mushy post n back to work
